Data Ownership Policy
Data is owned by the entity that purchased the training and license. However, entries in your Connections Category shall remain yours should you leave the company that originally purchased the Cink license you were using. The remainder belongs to the purchaser.
In the event you are no longer with the original entity that owns the data, your license (purchased by them) will become inactive. However, the information stored in your Connections Category is still retrievable should you purchase a personal license to Cink. Simply contact Cink to purchase a new license to regain access to your connections.
Security Policy
Cink operates on Microsoft’s Windows Azure Platform.
Windows Azure runs in data centers managed and operated by Microsoft Global Foundation Services (GFS). These geographically dispersed data centers comply with key industry standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001:2005, for security and reliability. They are managed, monitored, and administered by Microsoft operations staff that have years of experience in delivering the world’s largest online services with 24 × 7 continuity.
In addition to data center, network, and personnel security practices, Windows Azure incorporates security practices at the application and platform layers to enhance security for application developers and service administrators.

You acknowledge and agree that the Cink® Website is subscription-based and that You may not access or use the Cink® Website unless You are an Individual End User or an Enterprise End User. If You are an Individual End User, the term of Your subscription is month-to-month, commencing on the date that access is first granted, and Your subscription shall automatically renew for successive months (on the same day of the month as the day that access was first granted) unless We receive timely notice of termination from You as provided below. The amount of the monthly subscription fee shall be as set forth at http://getincink.com/pricing and may change from time to time. If You are an Individual End User, You agree to cease access to and use of the Cink® Website upon expiration or termination of Your subscription. If You are an Enterprise End User, You agree to cease access to and use of the Cink® Website upon expiration or termination of the subscription purchased by the applicable Enterprise Subscriber, or upon termination of Your authorization to access and use the Cink® Website by such Enterprise Subscriber, whichever occurs earlier. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE Cink® WEBSITE IS AT ALL TIMES SUBJECT TO PAYMENT IN FULL OF ALL SUBSCRIPTION FEES WHEN DUE, AND WE MAY TERMINATE OR SUSPEND SUCH ACCESS IN THE EVENT OF NON-PAYMENT OF SUCH SUBSCRIPTION FEES IN WHOLE OR PART, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION, WITHOUT NOTICE.
If You are an Individual End User, You agree to pay one month’s subscription fees upon initial access, in U.S. Dollars (the date of such payment being the “Initial Subscription Date”), and to pay all subsequent monthly subscription fees, in U.S. dollars, each month on the same date of the month as the Initial Subscription Date. The amount of the initial subscription fee and the subsequent monthly subscription fees shall be as set forth at http://getincink.com/pricing and may change from time to time but shall not affect your originally subscribed amount. You further agree to pay any taxes applicable to such subscription fees and any applicable training fees. Payment is to be made through electronic debit of a valid United States bank checking account or through automatic payments from a valid credit card acceptable to Us. You hereby authorize Us or Our designee to automatically debit such all subscription fees and training fees (as described below) and applicable taxes, including any past due amounts, when due (or thereafter), from Your United States bank checking account or from a valid credit card acceptable to Us. You agree that We may store Your payment card or bank draft information for the sole purpose of charging the fees provided herein and any other fees to which You may subsequently agree. YOU AGREE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF YOU ARE AN INDIVIDUAL END USER, (1) YOU MAY TERMINATE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE Cink® WEBSITE AT ANY TIME, BY SENDING AN E-MAIL TO US ADVISING OF SUCH TERMINATION, WHICH E-MAIL MUST BE SENT TO US AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: cancelsubscription@getincink.com or hard copy mailed US Postal Service First Class to 410 Pierce St., Ste. 206, Houston, TX, 77002; AND (2) NOTICE OF TERMINATION RECEIVED LESS THAN Ten (10) DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF RENEWAL OF YOUR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION SHALL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONTH. SUBSCRIPTION FEES AND TRAINING FEES PAID IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
In addition to monthly subscription fees, and in consideration of receiving access to the online training found on the Cink® Website, if You are an Individual End User, You agree to pay a one-time training fee in the amount as set forth at http://getincink.com/pricing in U.S. Dollars, payable in full on the Initial Subscription Date. The Cink® online training programs include instruction on how to review and identify your personal interests and activities which can be aligned with business development activities; identify connections that can be valuable to your business development efforts, establish business development strategies, quantify key categories of contacts to improve focus on an appropriate range of prospects, use of Cink® mapping tools and contact database, researching and storing information about prospects and customers that identifies their interests, passions, and activities, and ongoing examples of success stories from other Cink® users.
You are responsible for all activity occurring under your User account. The grant of right to access and use the Cink® Website may not be shared by more than one individual user, but as to Enterprise Subscribers only, may be reassigned from time to time to new users who are replacing former Users who have terminated employment or otherwise changed job status or function. You are strictly prohibited from unauthorized use of the Cink® Website, including but not limited to unauthorized entry into Our systems, misuse of passwords, or misuse of any information posted to the Cink® Website. You agree to keep confidential all user ID information and passwords issued or designated in connection with the Cink® Website, and to use such user information and passwords only for lawful purposes.
The Cink® Website may only be used in the ordinary course of Your business, or (if You are an Enterprise End User, the business of the Enterprise Subscriber), and may not be used as a billing service bureau by or for the benefit of any party. No other property rights of any kind in the Cink® Website shall transfer to or vest in You or in any Enterprise Subscriber, and are expressly reserved. No right or license under any patent, copyright, trademark or trade name is granted by, or is to be inferred from, any provision in these Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for being familiar with the current version of these Terms and Conditions posted on the Cink® Website during each session.
You agree that You will not (i) reverse assemble, decompile or derive source code for the Cink® Website; (ii) license, grant, sell, resell, transfer, assign, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit or make available to any third party the Cink® Website in any way; (iii) modify or make derivative works based upon the Cink® Website; or (iv) create Internet “links” to the Cink® Website or “frame” or “mirror” any content thereon on any other server or wireless or Internet-based device.
Use of the Cink® Website may be monitored, tracked, and recorded. Anyone using the Cink® Website expressly consents to such monitoring, tracking and recording. You agree that We may use data generated from such monitoring, tracking and recording for statistical analysis of access and use trends, for the purpose of making improvements to the Cink® Website, and similar purposes, and may disclose such data in aggregate form as long as it does not identify You individually.
The works of authorship contained in the Cink® Website, including but not limited to all design, text, sound recordings, and images, are owned, except as otherwise expressly stated, by Connections Intelligence, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, or one of its affiliates. Except as otherwise expressly stated herein, such works may not be copied, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed (for compensation or otherwise), licensed, altered, framed, stored for subsequent use, or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without the owner’s prior written consent.

You further agree that We may terminate or suspend Your access to the Cink® Website, immediately and without prior notice, in the event that We are required to do so under applicable law or order of a governmental authority. You agree and acknowledge that content You upload to the Cink® Website, as well as data regarding You and/or Your account stored on the Cink® Website, may be irretrievably lost or damaged as a result of such termination or suspension, or otherwise (including through ordinary use of the Cink® Website), and You agree to release and hold Us harmless from any damages or other liabilities arising as a result of the same.
WE, OR OUR SUPPLIERS, MAY DISCONTINUE OR MAKE CHANGES IN THE INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE TO YOU AND WITHOUT ANY LIABILITY TO YOU. ANY DATED INFORMATION IS PUBLISHED AS OF ITS DATE ONLY OR, IF NO DATE IS STATED, THE DATE OF FIRST POSTING.
